Sankala Foundation
The Sankala Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered in 2022 under Section (8)
of
the Companies Act, 2013 of India. Our primary focus is on expanding the knowledge base
and
encouraging discourse among various stakeholders that contribute towards addressing
issues
related to climate change and ensuring sustainability. We are committed to contribute in
minimising the effects of climate change and environmental disasters, particularly on
vulnerable communities.

The Sankala Centre for Climate and Sustainability (SCCS), established by the
Foundation, is dedicated to advancing education, research, training, outreach,
advice, and advocacy in the field of climate and sustainability. The Centre is
committed to collaborate with government and its parastatal organizations at all
levels, non-governmental organizations, scientific communities, and domain experts
that share similar goals. To bring synergy, these collaborations extend to the
local, national, and international levels.
