Researchers in Action

Our researchers actively conduct field visits across multiple states and countries, gathering firsthand data to drive impactful projects. In Uttarakhand, we are studying sustainable livelihood models to understand how local communities adapt to economic and environmental shifts. In Gujarat, our team is documenting the eco-restoration journey of lion habitats, exploring conservation strategies and community participation. Our research in Coimbatore focuses on women’s empowerment at KPR Mills, assessing the integration of education, skill development, and employment. Meanwhile, in Karnataka, we are analyzing digital health interventions and their role in improving healthcare accessibility. The Aravalli eco-restoration project in Haryana is another key initiative, where we are studying biodiversity conservation and sustainable land-use practices. Beyond India, our work extends to Rwanda, where we are supporting research on water supply and irrigation systems to enhance resource efficiency and resilience. Through these on-ground efforts, Sankala ensures that research is not just theoretical but translates into real-world impact, empowering communities and shaping sustainable solutions.
