A Report on Eco-restoration of the Aravalli Landscape
This research study on Eco-restoration of the Aravalli Landscape was undertaken by Sankala Foundation with the
support of the Embassy of Denmark in India and the guidance of the Haryana State Forest Department. The study
adopts an integrated approach to addressing ecological degradation in the Aravalli region, linking environmental
sustainability with biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, livelihood security, and human rights.
Gratitude is extended to the Embassy of Denmark in India, particularly His Excellency Mr Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen,
Ambassador of Denmark to India, and the Embassy team, for their support and cooperation that helped in successful
