Graphic Designer
The Graphic Design Intern will support Sankala Foundation in developing visual
communication material across print and digital platforms. The role requires creativity,
technical proficiency, and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual
outputs.
Eligibility & Educational Background
The candidate should ideally possess or be pursuing a degree or diploma in Graphic Design,
Visual Communication, Multimedia/ Animation, or any related field. Candidates with
relevant exposure to visual design and digital media will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities/ Scope of Work :
- Design high-quality digital and print materials such as reports, brochures, banners,
- and posters;
- Develop graphics for social media, website, and programme-related
- communication;
- Create data visualisations, infographics, charts, and thematic illustrations;
- Support in maintaining consistency in Sankala’s visual identity and branding;
- Work with internal teams to understand design requirements and contribute to
- execution;
- Support event-related design requirements such as standees, backdrops, and
- creatives.
Required Skills for Potential Candidates
The candidate should have good knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator,
Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDRAW, Canva, or similar platforms. A willingness to learn and
improve design skills is essential.
The candidate should possess good understanding of layout, typography, and colour
principles, along with an interest in developing creative and visually engaging content.
The role requires the ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks, and meet
timelines with guidance from the team. Attention to detail and openness to feedback will
be important for learning and growth during the internship.
