Organised in collaboration with the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum, the third edition of Silent Conversation: From Margins to the Centre showcased the works of 15 talented tribal artists selected for the Artist in Residency Programme held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

These artists, representing diverse tribal art forms such as Warli, Gond, Sohrai, Aipan, Dokra, and more, spent a week creating remarkable pieces that embody their heritage and the intrinsic connection between humans and nature.

The programme culminated in an exhibition at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu. The exhibition celebrated India’s rich and diverse tribal art traditions, highlighting the significance of cultural dialogue and fostering greater visibility for these timeless art forms.

The residency and subsequent exhibition reflect a steadfast commitment to preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage, providing a platform for tribal artists to share their voices and traditions with the world.
