Consultant (Marketing)

We are seeking a part-time marketing professional with a deep interest in publishing, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to lead creative and effective outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans for books, reports, magazines and other publications.
  • Drive outreach through traditional and digital platforms, targeting diverse and relevant audiences.
  • Lead campaigns for print and e-publications, including magazine subscriptions, book launches, and online promotions.
  • Build networks with libraries, distributors, bookstores, online platforms, media outlets, and institutional partners.
  • Supervise content marketing, social media engagement, and digital advertising initiatives.
  • Track market trends and reader behaviours to refine strategies and maximise visibility and impact.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Education: Postgraduate degree in Marketing/ Business Administration from a recognised university/ institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of industry experience in marketing, particularly in organizations engaged in publishing of books and magazines.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing, including search engine optimisation (SEO), social media, and e-commerce channels. Proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns for publications.
