The bond between tribal communities and the forest is profound, transcending mere survival. Tribal art serves as a vibrant expression of this connection, a visual narrative that embodies their reverence for their surroundings and the world they inhabit.

Organised in collaboration with the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), Silent Conversation: From Margins to the Centre, brings artistic talent of various tribal communities and other forest-dwellers to the forefront. Their art captures both the beauty of the natural surroundings and an ancestral legacy deeply intertwined with nature.

Now in its second edition, this exhibition aims to further mainstream their art, giving these artists the recognition they deserve and ensuring better value for their work. Our mission is to economically empower these communities while instilling a deep sense of pride in their craft and cultural heritage.

The second edition of Silent Conversation: From Margins to the Centre will showcase art forms like Gond, Bhil, Warli, Sohrai, Saura, Lohakaam, as well as traditional weaves from the Northeast and several other artefacts.

This exhibition also aims to create a platform to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and nature preservation. The visitors will also have an opportunity to learn about the sustainable practices of the tribal communities, deeply rooted in their cultural heritage.

Tribal Artwork

Cultural Evening

To enhance the sensory experience of this art exhibition, the Cultural Evening is planned to bring alive the essence of the tribes whose stories are captured in the paintings and artworks. The evening will be a confluence of visual art, music, dance, and folklore, designed to engage attendees in a dynamic, immersive experience that celebrates tribal heritage in all its forms. The evening will celebrate the symbiotic relationship between tribal communities, forest dwellers and Mother Nature. The Cultural Evening at Silent Conversation: From Margins to the Centre will transform the exhibition into a living, breathing celebration of tribal heritage. Experience a night where art meets nature, and stories come alive under the open sky.
